What Sounds Good For Dinner?

Last night we had Shrimp Creole. My fiance asked if tonight we could please have some normal food. I’m not sure what he means, but I’m sure it has to do with some good old fashioned something. He is country and he is a meat and taters kinda guy. So, what sounds good?

I am not copying, but I am having meat loaf and mashed potatoes and gravy tonight , maybe some corn too.

Easy Chicken and Gravy Recipe
1 cut-up fryer
1 can cream of mushroom soup
2 cans cream of chicken soup
1 can cream of celery soup
1 cup dry onion flakes
garlic powder to taste
salt to taste
pepper to taste
Put the chicken pieces in a baking pan and sprinkle the onion flakes, garlic,
and pepper on them. In a bowl, combine the soups and pour over the chicken.
Cover and Bake in a 400°F oven until the chicken is tender. Serve the
chicken and gravy over rice or mashed potatoes.
Throw in some buttermilk biscuits and some green beans with ham and you got yourself a super southern meal full of comfort

Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, coleslaw, mac and cheese, barbeque, pasta, spaghetti and meatballs, burgers, any kind of chicken, baked potatoes, yams, bread and butter, you know, stuff along those lines

Fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and a nice salad to balance it out!
