I lived in Louisiana, and they have the best seafood ever, and cajun cooking. Now I live in Washington, and seafood is really big here too. Salmon the most.
Oh, I LOVE Carne Asada and Fish Tacos. I used to live in San Diego, and that’s the only place that has those (made right). And orange juliuses

Eastern Massachusetts means fried clams, clam chowder, lobster (if you’re a tourist), and sometimes kale soup with linguiƧa if you grew up near Providence or New Bedford. We’ve got pretty good pizza too, and a huge following for southern BBQ.

Well I go to school is Boulder, CO and well… Celestial Seasonings HUB is here, so I guess our tea is famous? Oh and Wild Oats started here so Whole Foods is pretty popular around here – in the city of Boulder there are… 5 Whole Foods!!! Slightly ridiculous, no? ha ha!
I am from Jackson, WY though… and not too sure what’s famous there – but probably GAME like bison or elk…

I live in Pismo Beach, California. We are famous for a type of clam called “the Pismo clam”. We even have a clam festival every year. People actually dress up as clams (I swear) and dance in the street. We also have the best cinnamon rolls at Old West Cinnamon Rolls. Its a small bakery who has been around for about 30 years selling lots and lots of cinnamon rolls

I’m in northern Indiana, and amazingly ( to me) there are a lot of Polish and Hungarian background. Pierogies ( a type of dumpling thing filled with sauerkraut, potato, or cottage cheese and onion mixture) just typing that, it sounds terrible but sooooooooooo good!, kielbasa,( polish garlic sausage) paczkis ( a type of jelly donut… traditionally eaten on Fat Tuesday, a Catholic tradition using up all the sugar, lard, fruit …before Lent starts.) Actually, the Tuesday before Ash Wednesday is the only day you can find them, and traditional Polish/Hungarian bakeries have lines of people out the door to get them !
Also lots of Irish background, corned beef and cabbage, on St. Patty’s day. Scones, Potato soup..
Good Eating!
