resident, i want to hear from the other 48 states, give me your recipe for a good chicken and sausage gumbo? do the other 48 states have crawfish boils? do any of the other 48 eat boiled pigfeet? how about hog cracklin? (which is fried hog fat and allowed to cool to become a nice crunchy treat) i think louisiana has the best food in the world, i would love to hear your recipes (not louisiana and texas residents please) of a chicken and sausage gumbo

Im a resident of LA and I think your sooo right, cajun/creole is the best. I went to Colorado once and i was weirded out by the food. No Tonys Chacheres to season with!!! It sucked…haha! I was glad to come home and have some boiled crabs….it was so great to come home to that treat!!!! But i dont think anyone can make a gumbo like LA can!

I lived in Texas but now live in California. Cajun food has been sadly been replaced by sushi bars and salads…as they don’t eat real food out here!
