With the Super Bowl just around the corner, I started thinking about how different these two cities are.
I associate New Orleans with jazz music, streetcars, Cajun food, etc and Indy with the 500, Letterman, cold weather, etc.

Can Anyone Tell Me What To Fix?

My mom’s doctor and I are very good friends; she is coming to spend the weekend with me for Shrimp and Petroleum Festival. In Morgan City Louisiana we celebrate this every year and it is very nice they have live bands in the parks, food booths, arts and crafts, and they have a big fair underneath the bridge. We have a really good time, I want to fix dinner and do something really special for her; I want to impress her. At the festivities I know she will be eating out there some. They usually have alot of shrimp, and cajun food, and lots of hurricanes. She is waiting on me to finish school for me to come and work for her, I care about her so much she was my husbands doctor and when he died she stood by my side. When she come for the weekend I want to treat her like a queen. Can anyone give me some good ideas? I really care about her and I want to thank her for all she has done for my family.

Last night we had Shrimp Creole. My fiance asked if tonight we could please have some normal food. I’m not sure what he means, but I’m sure it has to do with some good old fashioned something. He is country and he is a meat and taters kinda guy. So, what sounds good?

I like Italian foods and tomato sauces. I also like Cajun foods. I love anything with spice.
I’ve never ate a salad before, believe it or not. I’ve always been too afraid to try them. However, I’m now going to make myself eat healthier. Based on the types of food I like, what types of salad AND DRESSING do you think I should try?
Also if you can please give me a description of what each dressing tastes like, it would be helpful!
