This is an great summer salad, you can make it spicy if you like, but i suggest you use mild cajun spices. With some dark bread this goes great with an barbeque! Hope you like it !…

I need to find a French recipe (it doesn’t necessarily need to be written in French, but can be, but needs to be “French food”). Preferably a cajun style, mardi gras type of food. And it needs to be somewhat simple because I’m going to have to make it. Does anyone know any good ones? It’s for french class. Merci beaucoup!
nope, no live crawfish laying around

Any Good Cajun Sauce Recipes?

Alright here’s my dilemma. I’m in need of a decent Cajun sauce recipe of some kind. NOTHING COMPLICATED OR OUTRAGEOUS. I’m not sure how many of you have ever had (or even heard of) a Cajun wrap from the Cookout fast food restaurants. Doesn’t matter I don’t suppose. Anyways, it’s just a chicken strip wrapped in a tortilla with lettuce, cheese, and their Cajun sauce. It’s delicious. I got a couple friends who work there, and they all tell me that their Cajun wrap’s sauce consist of their Cajun spice (which they put on fries and other things; it’s some kind of Cajun “dust”) and Texaspete.. and thats it.

Vegetarian/vegan Cajun recipes?

I am wanting to attempt something totally different but stay within a vegetarian/vegan approach. I also want to attempt to impress some friends that are really into Cajun food.

Looking for something more than just rice dishes – possibly even a version of jambalaya.

While I have learned to make several Indian dishes – not that many people really eat that sort of thing -where I live except for one friend of mine in the area.
