Bak’n With ObamaStein: I play poker with a bunch of retired navy guys & a couple ladies. One weekend when I was hosting the poker game I decided to make my own homemade pizza from scratch. We all would order out for delivery normally. Only you always seem to have 1 person who does not like Papa Johns or Pizza Hut or who ever you were ordering your pizza. My boyfriend and I went to a Christmas party at his coworker’s house. I didn’t want to go at first because I wanted to rest at home, but I’m glad I went. OMG! His coworker had sooooooooo much food at her house. She had made fried turkey, boiled crab legs, stuffing, macaroni and cheese, mash potatoes&gravy, candied yams, green bean casserole, cajun rice, collard greens, baked honey ham, roast beef, dressing, corn bread, dinner rolls, mixed vegetables, and roast pork tenderloins. She also made homemade desserts such as devils food cake, caramel cake, pecan cake, banana pudding w/ rum sauce, strawberry cheesecake, several pecan and sweet potatoe pies. She even set up an appetizer tray with finger sandwiches, quiche, chicken salad, deviled eggs, shrimp cocktail and a champagne fountain. My boyfriend over ate so I had to drive back home.
P.S. Can I come?

I want to keep it in the Mardi Gras cajun/creole type theme but I know my son won’t eat anything spicy or that he thinks looks “gross” and probably his friends won’t either. It’s an evening party so I have to feed them something dinner-like without resorting to pizza but preferably finger foods so they can snack while having fun.

I don’t want much, do I???
UUuuuuh, I DO want it to be fun for him, but we can have pizza any time, I want something different that fits the theme but that he’ll still like, that’s why I’m asking for help! YOISH!
