So,tonight i decided to cook a pot of beans for dinner.I started at about 3:00 and i just fried a little bit of bacon in the pot and then put the water and let it boil so then i added the beans. They have been cooking for about an hour and I’m ready to season them that way the seasoning can have time to settle into the beans. However,i’m unsure of what i could put in them to make them taste better. Also,i love spicy food so what could i put that wouldn’t make then taste unusual?I have some creole seasoning but i don’t know how that would work in with beans?
Any suggestions?
They are a mixture of beans, there are several different kinds.
I was afraid of putting fresh garlic in them, because i didn’t want the flavor to overwhelm the beans.
