Ok, so I just went to Toronto for my first time last week and was told I should order from this restraunt. I dont remember what the restraunt was called, but I know it was in Toronto, and might have been cajun or some ethic type food. It was amazing, it was strips of beef soaked in a type of sauce for 2 weeks with brusel sprouts and rice and other veggies. I would love to know what that was called if anyone knows. If you know the recipe that’d be even better.
All i know is that I was staying at the beach motel on Lakeshore blvd w, and my friend I visited lives in toronto, about 10 minutes away from the motel. He said he was going to go into town and grab us this dish that is marinated in sauce for 2 weeks. It came in a plain bag so I didnt catch the name of the restraunt.

Here are the ingredients of a Perdaplow – Flatbread wraps Rice, meat, carrots, onions, garlic, green beans, potatoes, spices, hardboiled eggs, and sliced blanched almonds. This is large enough for a gathering of many people. I want to try to make one with Cajun Jambalaya or Red Beans and Rice. Something similar at Taco Bell is the Cruchwrap Supreme with Spicy chicken and sauce, then a flat corn taco followed by shredded lettuce, diced tomato, and sour cream – grilled. Would you order one if we put 6 in a overnight shipping box? Jiyan tells me it is crazy! We are here at the community college in Bridgeport CT.
Red Beans and Rice Perdaplow or Jambalaya Perdaplow sounds better? Both?

make bourbon chicken? I think that’s what it was called. I ate at a Cajun restarurant in Indianapolis this weekend, and had this dish. It was INCREDIBLE. It was a huge bowl, and it was just chicken (with whatever amazing Cajun sauce it has…) with a whole bunch of rice.
Anyone ever had this? How do I make Cajun dishes like that?
