Can Anyone Tell Me What To Fix?

My mom’s doctor and I are very good friends; she is coming to spend the weekend with me for Shrimp and Petroleum Festival. In Morgan City Louisiana we celebrate this every year and it is very nice they have live bands in the parks, food booths, arts and crafts, and they have a big fair underneath the bridge. We have a really good time, I want to fix dinner and do something really special for her; I want to impress her. At the festivities I know she will be eating out there some. They usually have alot of shrimp, and cajun food, and lots of hurricanes. She is waiting on me to finish school for me to come and work for her, I care about her so much she was my husbands doctor and when he died she stood by my side. When she come for the weekend I want to treat her like a queen. Can anyone give me some good ideas? I really care about her and I want to thank her for all she has done for my family.

I’m assuming you mean food items…??? Find out what her favs are and look up recepies on the internet. It impresses people when you have the food displayed in nice dishes with candles. My friends love it when the table is impressive!

I would make a steak………..grilled to perfection on a charcoal
grill
sauteed sweet onion with mushrooms
grilled asparagus
An excellent Red wine
And of course a to die for dessert
Custard or cheese cake with fresh strawberries, blueberries,
raspberries and kiwi
or Key lime pie
