I’m talking to my brother right now and decided to ask. I LOOOOVVVEEEE Creole foods ;-P I love Gumbo, Salmon Crochets, Catfish, Jambalaya *yUm…
But my brothers likes Soul Food and loves Red Beans and Rice and Black Eyed Peas.
Whats your favorite???

    All you people who said soul food must not have been around New Orleans. =)
    I live near Baton Rouge and we eat Creole/Cajun. It’s awesome.
    P.S. We eat Red Beans & Rice all the time. It’s a Creole dish, i believe.
    I didn’t know black eyed peas were considered soul food. I just thought that was a Southern thing. I grew up eating that in Florida. Are turkey necks slow cooked in black eyed peas a soul food dish? Maybe I grew up on soul food…

    creole food is part of soul food..Soul food simply means food created by blacks in America..

    Creole jumbalaya and gumbo.I love how it is more spicier than soul food. Soul food taste more salty.
